1.1 Search Tool Change Report
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Navigate to Report Screen
From the main left-side menu, click on:
Production and Quality → Reports → Tool Change Report
This opens the Search filter screen for viewing reports.
Step 2: Apply Filters for Searching
- Report From Date (Mandatory) → Select the starting date for the report.
- Report To Date (Mandatory) → Select the ending date for the report.
- Part Serial No (Optional) → Enter the part serial number to filter specific parts.
- Part (Optional) → Select a part from the dropdown.
- Operator Name (Optional) → Select the operator who performed the tool change from the dropdown list.
- Machine (Optional) → Select the machine used for the operation.
- Shift (Optional) → Filter records based on the work shift (A/B/C).
Click Search to display the filtered records.
Click Clear to reset all filters and refresh the report view.
Step 3: Click “Search”
- Once the date range and filters are set, click on the green Search button.
- To reset the form, click Clear.
1.2 View Tool Change Report
After clicking Search, you will see the report results in a tabular format.
| Column Header | Description |
|---|---|
| Machine Name | Name of the machine being used. |
| Part | Name or code of the part being processed. |
| Part Serial No. | Unique serial number assigned to the part. |
| Tools Name | Name or ID of the tool used in the machine. |
| Tool Change At | Indicates when the tool was changed (time or cycle count). |
| Remarks | Additional notes or observations about the process. |
| Reason | Reason for tool change or stoppage. |
| Operator | Name or ID of the operator handling the process. |
| Date | Date when the entry was recorded. |
| Shift | Shift during which the activity took place (e.g., A/B/C). |
You can also use the Search field (top-right) to filter the report results by keyword.
1.3 Export Options
At the top of the results table, you’ll see the following buttons:
- Excel → Export the report as an Excel file.
- Print → Generate a print-friendly version of the report.

- Ensure date formats are consistent when filtering.
- Exported Excel files retain the same column structure.
- Printing may require browser permissions or settings adjustments.
